In this course you familiarize yourself with the basic principles of dialogue and you get to work with the four core dialogue behaviors.
If you want to learn how to break or prevent deadlock in conversations, if you want to gain insight into the attitudes and motives of your conversation partners, if you want to discover what is possible beyond winning an argument and what you already know and have done before, in short, if you want to have better, more effective conversations, then this course is for you.
‘We practice what we preach’, so we mainly use ‘appreciative inquiry’ and other interactive and dialogue-driven methods that guarantee maximum input from the participants. We enrich these group discussions with insights from theory and practice. In addition, we engage in a number of exercises to practice the core dialogue behaviors.
The dialogue training has a modular structure. In addition to a base module, the following themes are treated more or less profoundly, depending on the needs and interests of the participants:
- The four core behaviors of dialogue: listening, respecting, suspending and voicing
- The role of the environment in dialogue
- Subconscious assumptions and bias
- Dialogue work-forms
This training is given both in-company and on open registration for individual participants.
